|
|
| Hi! I installed apache2triad on windows xp and somehow i can't access phppgadmin. the user and password combination seems to be wrong. i thought the global user is root and the global password is the one i had to enter while installing. but they don't work... anybody has a clue what the problem could be? |

| you are probably using 1.5.1 in that case , you would best upgrade to a newer release |

| Hi, actually I'm using 1.5.2, and I also tried 1.4.1 but the problem was the same... I also checked the .htaccess file, but that seems to be correct. |

| The folder for Postgre is there, but no data folder in it... I read about that problem, but didn't know how to handle it. I'm not sure about the cluster init. And yes, my file system is NTFS, but I also have a FAT32 partition. |

I’ve seen this thread before, but it doesn’t really help me. The thing is, I was never really into setting up servers... That’s why I always use stuff like Foxserv or Xampp. But those don’t feature PGSQL, and I need to work with it now. So can anyone give me something like a step by step guide to installing and setting up Apache2Triad on Win XP…?
By the way, I’ve seen that when I start PGSQL manually, it says 'PostgreSQL has been started', but on the admin page ‘Start PostgreSQL’ still appears. And when running test.pgsql.php I receive the following message 'Could not connect to template1 on localhost with root@127.0.0.1'. |

| Olli, I'm having the same exact problem you are having. Everyone wants to refer you to that same post that is useless! I desperately just want a working server with pgsql, but I guess it's not possible :( |
