Apache2Triad Help, Support and Development

Hi all
I use Apache2triad 1.5.2, all is perfectly running, but the SlimFTpd service have a problem :
It can't start by the apache2triad control panel. And if i try to start it in services.msc, i got an error 1069 :" L'echec d'une ouverture de session à empeché le demarrage du service"

I can't translate in english, because, my english is bad.

see the slimftpd log , link in the CP

i have already see the slimftpd log file, but, there is only old information.
The last information is Connection closed (26/08/05). And when i try to start the slimftpd server, there is no new information in the log file. And if i try by services.msc, i get this error (1069) ans no new information in the log file.

Ok, there is the errors lines, in the error.log :

OS: XP Pro (SP2)
A2T: 1.5.3

I got the same error as the French speaking gentleman... However, error 1069 means the service logon as the apache2triad user failed.

I personally turn off all services I consider "stoopid" and a potential security risk, such as Secondary Logon. Don't like the idea of something starting that wasn't me. lol

I figured I had two options, make the service run under the main server user account or make it work the way ya'll intended. I also fig you set the service to run under the A2T user for a reason so I tried to turn on Secondary Logon and still no dice. Other than that I dunno what else to try to make the service run under yer user...

My question to you at A2T is, what is the real purpose of the A2T user account? I would assume it was done for security? Any info on your thought paths on this setup would help.

My problem with this error is that I have everything correct. I have the user name and password changed. I don't know why it's still giving me this error. I just reinstalled it to make sure that all the program files were correct also.

That solved my problem as well. I could not start the slimftp service, it just kept on stopping straight away.
