I can't seem to figure this out. I can access apache2triad via localhost, but I can't load http://myiphere in my broswer. :?:
I have Bell Sympatico high speed internet, which I guess is DSL.
I have a SMC barricade router, and I have port's 21-80-110-53 open.
I'm running Windows XP SP2, and for now I have turned my firewall right off.
I had a similar problem some time ago with a FTP program on my computer, got that working some how but 1) can't remember, and 2) that was on my old cable connection.
Any idea's? I think it may be that I can't find my computer's true ipaddress...
Help please. I have tried most of the stuff I have read on the networking section and nothing has been working. |

on the server go to start run CMD --
type ipconfig /all
that will give the server ip
try loading it in a browser
try loading 127.0.0.1
goto http://www.whatismyip.com
verify that your public ip matches that ip
try loading public ip
if the first two work check youu forwarding
if they do not, likely your router does not support Loopback. |
