Not sure what version/release you are using, but I just installed cpgNuke on top of / as a virtual host with a2t. I have only had a2t up and running 7 or 8 days, but I have two live sites running. I am not through building the nuke site, but everything seems to be in order as I go along. The install was very straight forward and cpgNuke has great support. I have used phpnuke myphpnuke and a few others... I like cpgNuke the best thus far.
Here is a site I built using cpgNuke to give you an idea of its interface.: http://www.phillissa.com. I used this install as a test run to get up-to-speed with it.
