| Can someone tell me y cant i connect to the mysql database?!it gives me an error everytime i try to install a forum software,the error message says that it cant connect to the database so does anyone know what could be the problem?! |

try localhost as the server,
make sure the mysql service is running.
verify the username and password you are providing. |

well i cecked everything i reinstalled everything,but now i get a different error:Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in \ips_kernel\class_db_mysql.php on line 128
I tryed this http://www.siteinaweek.com/installphp5/howto.php but it didnt work! |
