| hi, i have a question about dns. i want to know, is it possible to set up your own dns server thingy. if so could anyone tell me how? |

it is possible with programs like posadis http://posadis.sourceforge.net/ or other variants, but it requires a static IP, and alot of know how, with not much to gain.
I had looked into this myself, but found it easier to let someone else do DNS, and you'll get better DNS resolution with redundent name servers from varying locations than you could do by yourself. |
