Hi there the exact error message that i get after selecting plugins (rar files) and then clickingon upload is:
An error has occurred, unable to un-archive the file PCLZIP extract error: 'PCLZIP_ERR_MISSING_FILE (-4)'
and as a title it says:
The filetype application/x-zip-compressed is not allowed and has been deleted..
NowI have installed on my computer winrar and i dont have winzip. does that matter? please help. thank you.

If it was 3rd party plugins it would be nice to know what they are...
As for having winrar and not winzip. That's what most people I know use, that or 7-Zip http://www.7-zip.org/ It doesn't really matter as long as it supports the file extensions that you want to use. |

i have figured it out. basically it is due to the upload setup as when you just install e107 in the upload extentions you have to rename a file in the directory called filetypes_.php in the s107_admin folder, rename it to filetype.php in order for the file to work otherwise you cannot uplaod any files for the software itself or the program.
