MySQL Dead After 1.5.4 Update

I backed up all of my database stuff for MySQL and added all of the required user info back into phpMyadmin along with the databases.

Everything comes up when I use the MySQL query browser but when I try to echo any info from my database with PHP it just dosnt come up. I dont get connections errors or anything. Just nothing.

Any ideas?
