Check your logs.
Check your configuration.
start -> run -> cmd.exe -> httpd -t
That should give you your answer. |

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. help.
oh, when it asked me to enter my Apache2Triad password at the end of the installation, i could not type anything, so I just hit enter, if that means anything. |

that means that you did not activate postgres , FYI just because a program does not echo your input back to you (the case with many password entering routines) it does not mean it had not recieived that input |
