I am currently working on a friends website and I am tryin to create a forum so that he can discuss things with other car fans. Can anyone point me in a direction to get me started? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,

| there's many types of forums systems with different kinds of backends, using different languages. The most popular use php/mysql combination. You can google them very easily. Also, most forums tend to advertise themselves on the bottom of the page (for example these forums have a link to phpbb) |

download phpbb from www.phpbb.ro or www.phpbb.com
to build a forum from scratch you must know PHP, MYSQL, JAVA, HTML very very well to learn a little go to www.w3schools.com www.php.net |
