Help!
I want to be able to build and view the websites I create offline, which is the reason why I installed Apache2Triad. Currently, most everything works fine, and my code is displaying beautifully. However, I do NOT want anyone else to be able to access the server without physically being in front of my computer. I think this is the case already, but I'm not sure. When I view any page through A2T, it shows the domain as "localhost". Which means... it's on my computer, right?
My other question is this: With the domain localhost, how can I set up a subdomain that mimics the subdomain on my live server? In otherwords, when my subdomain/backend/register.php file has a link to "/?e=err1", it redirects to the htdocs root, instead of the subdomain folder root. I'm sure there's a way to change this, but I'm completely lost... even after searching this forum for similar topics.
Thanks for the help :) |
