|
|
hi, I am new here. Just found out about this excellent software. Congratulations for this great work. I want to use it as a Web server, for my CMS websites.
I have one question to begin with, maybe, someone will be able to help me with this:
I have a client who uses Windows server 2003 with IIS six. It is serving ASP pages. I have been trying to get the Apache server to run alongside with IIS, but I have not been successful. Is this possible? Can Apache and IIS run simultaneously on the same machine?
Any help about this would be greatly appreciated..
another question would be if it's possible to upgrade PHP, my SQL, phpMyAdmin, and Apache scripts in Apache2triad.
Thank you for your help.

| They can run at the same time, but must be configured to use different ports. That is, one of them must use something different than the standard port 80. |
