I have installed ZPanel and am hving a slight problem. The PhPMyAdmin works and so does everything else but the only account that can use ftp, even on an ftp program, is the root account. Yes, i have added more accounts and tested em but they cant login. I am running verion 1.4 which i just upgraded to today.
Please help.
*EDIT* When i try to login on WS_FTP Pro on an account other than root it tells me that i have the wrong password. :/ |

| Am sorry but you wil have to take that to the zpanel guys , there is nothing i can do about its probelms |

| it is not just zpanel tho. Even when i try to connect through a ftp program such as ws the only account i can connect through is the root account. |

maybe you dont have any other ftp accounts besides it ?

| ok , well the user is there , if the ftp server is running , and has been restarted after the user was added to its config file there is no other reason for you not to log in as him besides a ftp client failure |

seem to be having same problem regarding ftp access
i as the admin can access using ftp but any user i add to the slim ftp config file just keeps stating incorrect password
i have restarted apache and even restarted pc but still same problem ... yet i can use a completely seperate ftp prog (bpftp) and can connect .... obviously after stopping slimftp first
ADDED: solved ... appears stopping and starting apache/restarting pc doesn't affect slimftp .... need to stop slimftp and restart it via the Apache2triadCP (well that was how i solved it on my pc) |
