You have to make sure you allow that computer to connect to MySQL.

PHP, sessions, and cookies mabey?
You could have check.php which would be included at the top of each page.
And it would then redirect the person to the login page if the cookie/session isn't set.

I installed it yesterday Twisted Evil
Open the Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services
And you should be able to edit it there.
