Well I had a go and it has seemed to work.
I did have one issue with a table, but that has been answered alse where.

There is a question - I want to set each of these folders as seperate sites on the apache2triad server as http://fhuk1, http://fhuk2 or whatever, to mimic my live ...

Just joined the site, after downloading and installing apache2triad1.4.4.
I do not need it to publish to the internet at all (need to ensure it is safe though!)

I will be running, developing ...
