I need to reinstall a database backup (exported with PHPMyAdmin to a *.sql file) to MySQL. How should I do that? (The file is 13 945 KB)

there's different ways to do this.

I login to phpMyAdmin
Select Databases
Create a new database
SQL tab
Browse for the file and hit 'Go'

you can also do it from the command line, but I use phpmyadmin so much I'd have to look it up If you can't get what I suggested just post back and I'll give instructions for the command line.

Thanks, but I tried that already and it doesn't work, maybe because it says "Max: 2,048KB" (my file is too big)? All I get is a line at the top saying "No SQL query!"

(By the way I run a2t 1.3.1)

Would be nice to get instructions how to use the command line...

Thanks in advance,

Jon
