I'm having difficulty running down this problem. I get a connection timeout when trying to access my ftp/http address'
I've verified open ports on firewalls, closed antivirus', and checked A2T's error logs, Windows' sys logs, pinged, traceroot, netstat all were as expected. As of yesterday I had no problems, today nothing is accessable from my public primary DNS http://jaydium.servehttp.com, and alternate DNS http://jaydium.selfhost.com . The only thing done was a simple reboot. Access to localhost does work normal.
Any ideas?

Update, as inexplicably as it occured, it fixed itself. I lowered my MTU and a reboot repaired it. |

It loads for me - somewhat slowly, but that could be my connection. |

Yeah, I was at a loss, I figured it had to be a network thing since localhost, worked, and DNS resolved, but I was confused by the partial acceptance of the server. I figured it must've been a MTU problem with my network card. Although I still don't know for certain what caused the problem.
Thanks for the reply's Mancini, and dawg.

Problem identified. TCP/IP limit on XP Pro, I had used a fix before, but a recent MS update changed it on 2-15-06 (hence the problem after reboot) There is fix at http://www.lvllord.de/ |
