Hello,

I hope this hasnt been posted before, as I couldn't find anything..

Everything was working great with 1.5.3 for months now, and out comes 1.5.4 and I upgrade and add my server info back into http.conf and no virtual hosts!

I uninstall and do a clean install of 1.5.3 and my vhosts are back...

am I doing something wrong?

It's hard to tell what you may have done wrong without being able to see your config.

My guess, something small you forgot to re-add. Make sure your virtual hosts are something like:

Quote:
#localhost
<VirtualHost localhost:80>
ServerAdmin admin@localhost
DocumentRoot c:/apache2triad/htdocs
ServerName localhost
ErrorLog logs/localhost_error.log
CustomLog logs/localhost_access.log common
Include C:/apache2triad/conf/protect.conf

#display php errors
php_value register_globals 0
php_value error_reporting 2047
php_value display_errors 1
</VirtualHost>

On a side note: I recommend anyone who uses virtual hosts have one for the loopback service. This particular config also shows php errors.

And make sure you have something specifying the virtual host port(s)

etc...

I had my virtual host information between comment lines so it was easier to find when adding or removing... I simply add everything between my comment lines to include all of my virtual hosts... this setup works PERFECTLY on 1.5.3 but NO GOOD on 1.5.4

I appreciate the response... I'd really like to get into the updated version Sad
