Hi to all I trying to configure my virtual hosting but when make the configuration my apache wont restart
here is the code from httpd.conf

Please give me some advice what can I do

Why my ssl wont work I've tried lot variations

on ssl it won't do namebased virtual host resolving for the ssl certificate, just content. Meaning the 1st site (or the one you specify as _default_ ) will be the certificate used. If you do IP based then it will the certificate will resolve correctly

However, the document roots should change accordingly.
Example of how certificates and vhosts will workwork.
Site1Cert -> Site1Docs
Site1Cert -> Site2Docs
Site1Cert -> Site3Docs.

The reason for this is that SSL happens on the connection before the sitename information is returned.

I dont have an idea how to configure ssl.conf and how to generate the ceritficates ? for the web site
can you tell me something more concrete in readme files I cant get nothing in my head

Easiest way is to use the batch script, don't password protect the file, and make it self-signed

As for ssl.conf it works just like other virtual hosts, but with the specifed certificates, and encryptions to try. (the file also has some documentation about it).
