Hey guys well like i said i had been working on a hosting control panel for windows under apache, it was called cpanel apache if you people recall, well, just informing you that i didnt, dump the idea, i have been working on it from January this year, and well since i'm alone it has been taking longer than i anticipated, anyway, i should have the live demo online by the end of the weekend so that people can view my progress, i still dont have an official release date, since hey im alone, so any good php programmers would be apreciated, the site is [url]cpanelapache.sourceforge.net[/url] however i have only installed the forum there, im still working on the webpage lol, so here's my plea if you could help out in any way please pm, me, i'll be keeping you posted on more information, as i proceed.

well as much as perl is praised for its agility, i prefer php, and the whole programme is written in php, i will post some screen shots in a day or two just give me time, to wind things up

I would like to see this, will it work with virtual hosts? Also tell a little info about it, will it integrate with apache2triad? I would like to see some good control panel for windows for free : Laughing

its configured to work with any webserver that runs php so yes it will easily slot into your apache2triad bundle(hey i developed it on apache2triad) and to answer you first question, yes it's going to work with virtual hosts infact there's a very impressive script i have written with php that manages all your apache virtualhosts online, no more struggling opening and closing the apache config file, its pretty kook , i will launch the demo when im done, then u'll let me know what you think of it.

how does it store user information ? in flat files or in a mysql database? if in mysql are passwords encrypted?

the software itself is powered by alot of backends ranging from mysql and also from text files, you will get to see how it works, its really secure so yeah, passwords are encrypted.
