 network card issues?

Hello,
Have 7 computers at work. 1 has apache. had power surge and all network chips fried. bought 7 cards and installed. 6 work flawlessly.
The computer that runs apache "says" it's connected but will not connect to internet or internal apache files through web browser.
Is this a setting on the card or within apache itself?

The apache says it is connected to the localhost. Your problem is the network card or the network card settings. Your network card settings should be the same as in the apache httpd.conf file.

You can also do a netstat -an from a command prompt window to see which ip addresses are connected to port 80. If your card ip address is listed with the port 80 open, more than likely it is the card or a bad connection.
