New to this forum and apache2triad
Great job at including all the applications in a single package.

I apologize if this sound stupid, but I just installed apache2triad
and seems to load everything, that is apache on port 80, mysql,
etc and I'm not getting any errors.

When I type localhost as the url the page seems to be loading and
I get the the message ' website found, waiting for reply ' on the
internet explorer info bar, but the page never opens.
Same problem using the shortcuts to the mainpanel in the start/menu
Apache2triad folder, the page wait and waits but does not open .

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but the same thing happens.

I have the firewall removed and do not have any problem connectin
to the internet.

Any help would be appreciated .......... thanks ..................azee

I have windows XP pro.

hi kolatracks

Thank you for your response

You were right on the money, it was Mcafee Avtivirus.!!
I tried unstalling and reinstalling, but wether I installed Macafee ot
apache2triad first, it made no difference.

I was able to sign in and load the control pannel main page as long
as I did not update the antivirus-program files .

Once I updated, I could no longer login and the page would wait for
ever to load. Very weird it happened with Mcafee version 7 and 8.
No problems with Norton or Karpersky.

Again thank you for your promp answer....................azee
