Use phpmyadmin to set privileges. phpmyadmin is included with apache2triad and can be found on your sytem through this link http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

Once your on the main page of phpmyadmin click "Privileges". From there on there is too much to explain, but just read what phpmyadmin says. By default I think there are 4-5 users.

1. root with no password, full privileges and can only accesed from localhost
2. as above but can be accessed from anywhere
3. no username, no password and no privileges, can be accessed from anywhere.
4. 1 or two others I can't remember.

For more information on privileges try here, and look aroung on the site for more info.

I went there tried it and add passwords, after that I could not get acces anymore since it looks like phpmyadmin is logging in without a password so acces is denied, which password should be changed?? 1 2 3 or 4

since you changed the user permisions of your mysql server you also have to edit the phpmyadmin configuration file at c:\apache2\htdocs\phpMyAdmin\config.inc.php
you will find there a password and user setting that you need to update
Code:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user']          = 'root';      // MySQL user
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password']      = '';          // MySQL password (only needed

this above is the default
notice the missing password you need to update
