Hello...

First I would like to say thank you for a great all in one package...

I have 2 problems...

1... I intall Apache2triad and go to UebiMiau and logiun as Admin@localhost fine... I then use the Apache2triadCP script to change from Localhost to my domain... The UebiMiau login page now shows in the form @mydomain.com all fine and good,But I can not log in as admin@mydomain.com... after about 10 seconds I get a error page... The error is this--->

.: There were errors :.

There were errors in the process

Please login again

System message: Error connecting to the server

Logout

2... This problem involves another program,but I thought I would throw it out here in case someone knows something about it... The program is Xmail Administrator 0.23... It is a Xmail server configuring tool... I can't get it to work through Apache2triad,but works fine if I install Xmail on it's own... When I try to login to Xmail it gives me an error that it does not like my IP address...

Thank you
Slo...

Subject: Apache2triad mail test
X-Mailer: PHPmail

Mailserver test email

Your mail server and php config is ok

and php mail() is working fine

Let me rephrase the question...

Has anyone gotten UebiMaiu to work after using the "Change Domain" script from the CP?????

I have now reinstalled both Triad and my XP operating system and it still don't work...

Someone here must know what triggers the error

Here is what I figured out so far================

If I change some things in inc/UebiMiau/config.php I can use UebiMiau on my host machine only...

Parts changed are.================

$mail_servers[] = Array(
"domain" => "mydomain.com",#change
"server" => "mydomain.com",#change
"login_type" => "%user%"
);

To

$mail_servers[] = Array(
"domain" => "mydomain.com",#change
"server" => "127.0.0.1",#change
"login_type" => "%user%"
);

--------------------------------------------------------------
I need to change smtp to avoid the error """ SMTP Error: could not connect to SMTP host server(s) """
---------------------------------------------------------------
$smtp_server = "mydomain.com";#change

To

$smtp_server = "127.0.0.1";#change
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With these changes I am able to send and recieve mail from my host machine....

If i use only my domain name,,, i can't hook up with my server on my host machine or any machine in my network for that matter... I get the same errors on a network machine...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
.: There were errors :.

There were errors in the process

Please login again

System message: Error connecting to the server

Logout
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

""" SMTP Error: could not connect to SMTP host server(s) """
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

when I have the IP 127.0.0.1 installed in the config.php... the UebiMiau login page does nothing when I login from a network machine,which is logical because 127.0.0.0 is the localhost...

So I know if I beat myself up here for a while I will eventually find the problem,but if someone has been through this already i would appreciate a clue...

Thanks,
Slo...

I also have same problem.

everything works fine when using "localhost" but when using my domain address, I get the following error message when trying to access UebiMaiu:

Quote:
System message: Error connecting to the server

I'm also unable to log into Mysql when using my domain address but works perfectly when using "localhost".

Would appreciate some help to try resolve this.

Thanks for an excellent server package!

Cheers

I did not find a cure yet...

It's got to be some stupid line of code somewhere and I have not had the time to figure it out lately... I will let you know when I do...

appreciate your response.

I read all my mail in 'outlook' and so not being able to log into UebiMaiu is not highly important, but would still like to try resolve the problem.

The main hassle is not being able to log into the Mysql interface to setup databases, when the server is config for my domain address. Works perfectly when I switch back to localhost.

For the time being, I have to switch back to localhost to setup databases and then switch back to my domain name.

Everything else is working okay!

I've tried using a friends computer and accessing UebiMaiu from the outside, but still have same problems as above "error connecting to server".

just have to continue the way I have till someone knows a fix.

Cheers

Hello mancini, thanks for your response.

I've read the topic you directed me to but unfortunately it still does not resolve my problem.

with apache2triadcp configured for my "domain name address", I'm unable to "locally" access phpMyAdmin interface to setup / maintain databases. I can access phpMyAdmin log in page okay (h*tp://localhost/phpmyadmin/), but after that I get an error "the page cannot be displayed" (h*tp://fechserv.com/phpmyadmin/index.php)

with apache2triadcp configured for "localhost", I can access the above okay!

I gather it's possibly the same problem affecting UebiMaiu.

If apache2triadcp is configured for "localhost", I can access/login UebiMaiu "locally" okay! But if apache2triadcp is configured for my "domain name address", I get past the log in page (h*tp://localhost/uebimiau/) and then an error (There were errors in the process, Please login again, System message: Error connecting to the server h*tp://localhost/uebimiau/error.php?err=1).

Incidentally, I tried to log into UebiMaiu from an outside computer and same results. Being able to access UebiMaiu from outside would be good in times when I want to check my mail, but with phpMyAdmin, I only wish to access locally.

Look forward to your response.

Cheers

Sorry...

Is there a reason my post was edited or did the switch in hosts lose info???

I realize you changed this thread to reflect what I could not reply/post,but that change is gone... Was my info wrong???
