Hi, I installed v.1.5.2 on WinXP, and it went smoothly.

But when I try to access phpmyadmin at http://localhost/phpmyadmin, I get the following error:

cannot load mysql extension,
please check PHP Configuration

I checked the PHP Conifguration, and it seems ok, the line

extension=php_mysql.dll

is uncommented, and the file is present in the ext/ directory.

I'm not sure what to check next... anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Arinaya

are you sure the error is not "cannot load mysqli extension...." ?

does adding this

Quote:
extension=php_mysqli.dll

to php.ini remove that phpmyadmin warning ?

should also see this http://apache2triad.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3898#3898
