apache Access Control config

I'm using the server mainly as as developement enviroment for php.
Mainly, i need to be able to access it from work and to disallow other connections.

Where can i find documentation on the subject?
Mainly about configuring access lists and connecting to the server from outside computers...
The documentation supplied at the main site doesn't seem to be much help.

apache2triad consists of many servers and software , the everall apache2triad documentation covers the package in overall , for a specific software see the documentation for it , in this case you shoud see the apache documentation page for Authentication, Authorization and Access Control at http://localhost/manual/howto/auth.html
