I've got a large dump that I need to restore: 082505.0400.gz (259,753KB)

Obviously, phpmyadmin can't handle it since it is WAY over the max of 2,048KB.

How can I process this file?

you can increase that limit but it will surely crash or time out with such a big file and is a lot slower than direct import

Quote:
mysql -D dbname < 082505.0400.sql

after you uncompress the archive
