I've been trying to run apache as the apache2triad user. I'm setting some ntfs permissions by using the document at http://jaydium.servehttp.com/recovery/t3135.html (modifying paths and usernames), but I can't seem to find all the proper permissions. I was just wondering if anybody else has done this, or if somebody could assist.

Sorry man , you can not do that , most of the files are installed with the permissions of the user you runned the installation program as , and all other services besides postgres and slimftpd are set up to run as system , the apache2triad user just does not have anough privileges .

If you really want to you can try changing all the file permissions to it and the services too , but even so i think windows has restrictions on what nonadminstrator/system runned proccesses can do

Thanks for the reply it cemented what I thought might be the problem.
I've been trying with mixed success, but I think it might be more trouble than it's worth. There are alot of changes you have to manually do, with not much to gainn
