Hi!....
I'm using Apache2triad for 2 years or more, I don't remember since.
Everything was fine, until I had to reinstall Windows, and Apache2triad too.
I'm using the last version kit, apache2triad1.5.4, and after install nothing happens.
After a deep search, in Event Viewer i get this message : "The Apache service named Apache2Triad Apache2 Service reported the following error:
>>> (OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80."
Anyone has ideas about this wierd error? |

Lucian, it sounds as though you already have something listening on port 80.
You can use http://apache2triad.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3817 to help troubleshoot.
OR
start -> run -> cmd.exe ->
netstat -an
It will tell you if you have somthing on port 80. Most likely you may have installed Microsofts' IIS as an option. |
