Hey, just got it today, and I have to admit, I'm a complete newb. I've heard rumors and I've also tried it and (think) i proved that my ISP, Cox Communications, is blocking port 80. Is there anyway to get around this? I've had a webserver and I had to add :8080 after it everytime I tried to show anyone, which is what I DON'T want to do again. If someone can disprove Cox about blocking port 80, or if anyone can show me how to get by it, that'd be awesome. Thank you in advance.

Im on Cox and they do block that port. You need to route it to port 81 or sumthin like that. Unfortunatly the only way to get them to unblock port 80 is to pay for the business line at $200+ per month.

Any of the free DNS providers should allow for DNS cloaking -

So a call to www.domain.com will result in www.domain.com:8080
