I used the change password script in the ApacheCP. Then checked the SlimFTP config file and it shows user root to have the new password. However when I try to log into my server with the user root and new password I get incorrect password error. When I log in with the user root and the default password, all is perfect and I can connect.

The logs show I connect with the default and fail with the new password though the user in the config file has the new password.

I would certainly like to change the connection password for security resaons. Can you advise what is happening here and why it isn't allowing the new password and still accepting the default password?

Thanks.
